My daughter and I are in the process of moving out of one apartment and into another (more affordable) one. There is a two week overlap.
We like to talk about which of "our two beach houses" we will be staying at.
It's a minor conceit but makes us fell like we can afford to do this - which we really can't.
"I'll be at Our Beach House in town tonight."
"Well, I'm staying at Our Other Beach house."
La Dee Dah!
(Mary here) As much as I love the beach and beach houses, I'll settle for a house on "the Island." (And we'll be moving to Manteo sometime around June / July 2012!!)
